Grocery shopping day! Not usually the most fun thing on my agenda but today was an exception. First of all, Rob was home with Jenica so I was able to do all my errands in one trip, something my efficiency oriented brain loves to do. Second of all, I ended up with a great story out of my monthly Winco run. Somehow another woman and I managed to switch shopping carts half way through the store and not realize it until we were several aisles away, but still almost right next to each other. It was so funny! I went to put some sour cream in my cart and realized that I wasn't pushing my cart at all! So I started looking around for a cart with familiar looking groceries and was fortunate enough to spot it just a short ways down the aisle near a woman eying the juice selection. After briefly examining the cart up close to make sure it was in fact mine, I asked her if our carts may have accidentally been switched. She looked at the cart I had been pushing and determined that it was in fact hers, however, the meat in it did not belong to her. That is when we realized that we must have switched a few aisles back in the meat department, since the meat in her cart was mine, then pushed each others carts all the way down to dairy with out realizing the mix-up. I guess you kinda had to be there but I really got a kick out of it. I'm giggling a little now even as I write this. It's good to find joy in the little things. Anyway, while sharing the story with my friend Brandi tonight, she mentioned that I should have taken a picture of the cart for my picture of the day. I, of course, never even thought to do that even though I saw a guy in the grocery store walking around with the exact same camera I own slung over his shoulder. So the next best thing was to take a picture of my lovely fridge full of said groceries, all of which I claim full responsibility for, including the three tubs of ice cream seen in the freezer.

lol, that is a classic story. Good thing you noticed before checking out. I was totally going to ask you about all the ice cream. Guess you can file them under "simple things" that make life joyful.
You could have gotten away with saying "two" tubs of ice cream since one of them isn't visible in the picture. Too late now though...the world knows!!!
