It's kind of ironic that the name of my purse is the "everyday bag". It's been a great way to carry around pictures of my daughter, but as a (mostly) stay at home mom, I most definitely do not use my purse EVERY day! Some days, I don't even leave the house... although those are few and far between as I tend to get a little stir crazy, but when I do, usually a diaper bag is more practical than a stylish handbag.
However, I felt this would be a good symbolism of today as it was my first day back to work for the beginning of "tax season" - the 3 months out of the year that I become a full time career woman, and therefor get to carry my "Everyday Bag", well, every day! Although I will miss my daughter greatly during this 'season', it helps to know that there is an end in sight, and that I will always have her smiling face to look at when I'm missing her the most!
